Oops, I forgot

I forgot to say this in my last blog post

I am sad to say that Gary Coleman, Dennis Hopper. Lynn Redgrave and Art Linkletter have died recently, well Lynn Redgrave isn't recent, but I wanted to mention her. What a sad week.

its the threes thing again, last time it was Farrah Fawcett, Micheal Jackson and that dude with the loud voice.

Is it really nearly June?

Hey all you readers,

It's Maddie here, and boy has life been speeding along for me. It's been a year since I graduated high school, I cannot believe it! It's also been just about a full one month since I turned 19, and gosh this year is going really fast. I mean in a week, I'll be starting a writing class, and I'm helping out with summer school.

I've been kind of dreading the writing class, but hey, it means I'll get to write some new stuff and get to know a new teacher, which is always one of my favorite parts of starting a new class! There will also be other people to meet, which should be fun.

Let's see, the date is May 30, 2010, 4:38 early Sunday morning. Okay, don't call me crazy, I'm a night owl. It's what I do sometimes. I bet some of you readers are night owls too sometimes, so there!

Anyway, on this date in let's see, 10 years, I'll be 29 and I will be working at a preschool for special needs children, with a series of children's books out. I will have been engaged to a guy named Harvey, who I met on a cruise ship. I will have twin girls, Hayley and Amanda. and an adopted boy with impaired vision named Jackie. Hey, I can dream, can't I?

Well, in other news, my older brother, Chris is home for the summer, he's usually in Chico for school. My grandma and step-grandpa are visiting from Tennessee, but I wish they could stay forever! I'm really starting to bond with them more. I mean, not like I haven't bonded with them before, but now that I'm older, I can appreciate what they have to offer!Plus, I'm getting to feel pretty close to my grandma, which is a good thing!

I think my writing has improved, thanks to her working with me at Starbucks, which is another plus for me. It's pretty fun and cozy at the same time! One of my recent stories, starring a girl named Maggie, is currently 148 pages long. I hope it reaches 100,000 words by Christmas, right now, the word count is 67, 398. Yeah, that's alot of words.

I guess I should wrap things up,

I will post again tomorrow

Long Time, No Write

Hey you, people out there, Anne Hathaway (No seriously, she might read this)

Well, I haven't updated this here blog since my birthday and boy has it been a loong time.

So far, my 19th year of life is turning out pretty awesome! I've gotten into two new TV shows, "Gilmore Girls' especially, and a brilliant show called, 'The Office" No, not the one with Ricky Gervais, the one with Steve Carell.

"Gilmore Girls" is also brilliant! The writing, the characters and the jokes are all genious, especially how Lauren Graham who plays the always awesome Lorelai Gilmore. All the other characters, such as Lorelai's mom, Emily, Lorelai's dad, Richard, Lorelai's daughter, Rory and all of the other wonderfully quirky residents of Stars' Hollow.

As for writing, I'm continuing to develop a character named Maggie. Her full name is Margaret Nicole Holman. Besides Christy, I belive she is my best character I think I've ever created. I created all the members of her family with care and respect.

Ever since I had a meeting with my grandma at Starbucks, I have gotten a wonderful idea to write daily "rambles" it is a term I coined to mean to ramble on or to write for five minutes. It is a Maddie-ism, which is a term I also coined, which means a word or phrase developed by me.

Another Maddie-ism is "succatan" I'm not sure what it means, but it can be used as a verb in the following sentence, "Bill kicked the succatan out of the soccer ball but missed it by inches"

Yet another Maddie-ism is the phrase, "I'm just sayin'" It is mostly commonly used while out to dinner with my family.

I would also like to give some credit to my partner-in-crime, Ms. Pontoya for helping me spread the word, "succatan"

I'd better wrap this up, so I can get this posted so you guys can see this!

See ya the next time I bvlog, which I promise will be soon!

Signing off,
