Nearly New Year!

Hey,

This, of course is Maddie A, of the "Moments with Maddie" fame, if you've seen those videos. Anyway, I'm here to share my New Year's resolutions since 2010 is coming up fast. I will be writing my 2nd annual "Looking Back on the Past Year" blog

Alright, here are my New Year's resolutions, which I thought about while cleaning my room and listening to my brand-spanking new iHome, which I got for Christmas from my loevely parents, more on that later, anyway, onto the resolutions, ahem

  • I will enjoy life as much as possible (more than I have this year)
  • I will not let things bug me
  • I will keep my room clean
  • I will write every single day
  • I will try to be more of a night owl
  • I will brush and floss my teeth more
  • I will be happy, happy, happy as much as possible
  • I will respect and look up to the wonderful, goddess that is Julie Andrews
  • I will watch more of Kristin Chenoweth
  • I will try to blog every day
  • I will browse Youtube almost every day
  • I will try to exercise more
  • I will let bygones be bygones
  • i will be kind to my older brothers
  • When I have guilt clouding my mind, I will distract myself with other things, happy things

Whew that is alot of resolutions. I will reread this and try to keep up with every resolution, if possible. I usually never have resolutions, hmmm

Anyway, that is all for now, signing off for now,
merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, etc,

With Love from,

My first review will be of Mary Poppins and that will be up, most likely this weekend, so be sure to look for it, here on my blog!

Howdy there, Blog peoples!

Dear, Bloggy

Hi there, Ho there! This is Maddie A, live from a sunny place I like to call --------, California. Yeah, nice try, still don't know where I'm from, iIm not telling ya! I don't want any creepy stalker people following me everywhere I go.

Ahem, anyway, as you can tell, this is Maddie, the last post you read was written by my very best friend, Rachel because I didn't feel like updating. Now, I do feel like updating cause I just cleaned my room and I am awake and alive at 12:28 AM.

Yeah, I just got finished shaving my underarm hairs for the first time! Yay *throws confetti* yeah I don't know why you needed to know that, but I felt like announcing it because it's MY blog. I can say whatever the darn hootin I want, well except for certain things, but that's beside the point, madam (or sir, if you happen to be a male reader)

If you happen to be a fan of The Sound of Music then please read my very first fanfic over on Fanfiction.net. Just go to the homepage, click "movies" then "Sound of Music" and then BAM! you will see a linky link to a story called, "In Trouble" click that and you will be reading my first ever published fanfiction story. (Please leave a review, it'll be very much appreciated)

*********
Hmm, what else, whaaaattt ellse, shall I update about? I just watched the new Hannah Montana Episode, which is awesome! I luv when Billy Ray Cyrus gets a nose trimmer stuck in his nose! Yay, he is so awesome!

The first part of the Wizard of Waverly Place three part series is so cool, I love it! I like the song thingy that Alex remembers spells by. That's my favorite part.

Also, I watched the iCarly Awards and now I want an iCarly award. It is so cool.

*drums fingers on table* Oh yes, I went to Six Flags about a week ago on Saturday and had the best time EVAH, except for the almost getting sick after Medusa part, and the not getting the stuffed tiger part, but other than those two things, it was beyond awesome.

Ever since I saw the dolphin show, I made it that day's goal to get a stuffed dolphin before I left or else I wouldn't be happy, but I got it and now I am happy. His name is Flipper and since he was so cheap, I also got a stuffed penguin for almost the same price. I named him Frodo.

I saw the last half of the whale show and was kinda disspointed not to sit in the front, but it was worth it. I got wet in the splashzone at Seaworld in San Diego, so I'm not complaining. Speaking of getting wet, I also made a goal to go on a water ride and get soaking wet before I left, so I went on this neat water ride and got soaked, although my friend got wetter than I did.

The one other ride I went on besides that and Medusa, which was fun, was this ride where there's seats hanging by chains and each are red, blue, yellow or green and you sit in one and it spins, when it gets high enough, it tilts, it's really wickedly cool!

fIf you've seen the movie "Madeline" you'll know what I mean. You know that ride at the carnival scene, where Miss Clavel is riding on it and she gets that terrified expression on her face? Yeah, well, I did just that and did an impression of her doing that, although nobody could really tell, who cares, it was fun anyway.

The best part about going on the Medusa and the spinny ride was that since I wore flip-flops, they made me take them off and set them aside, excpt when I went on that spinny ride, I kicked them off, and one of my shoes didnt get kicked very far, so I had to yell for somebody to move it, politly of course.

Me and Rachel shared a beyond delicious funnel cake, I wish I could have one evry day! It would be yummy beyond belief.

For lunch I had friend rice from Panda Express and one of the ladies in our group gave me the rest of her fries. They were very yummy.

on the ride back to the church, we watched Elf and the driver repated almost all of Will Ferrell's lines because they were so darn funny. We also stopped at In-and-Out Burger, and I got a very good cheeseburger, for once they actually listened to my order cause I said no onions and no tomato. With that I got fries and a vanilla milkshake.

Whew that was alot of writing!

Um, I'm also getting over a cold. My nose is stuffed up and I sound nasally, but to quote my bestie friend, Rachel, "It's all good" Yeah, that was a shoutout to Rachel! Love Ya, girl!

I had a dream a couple of nights ago, I can't remember exactly what happened, but I do remember being in a large room with Jon, Kate and all eight of their kids (serves me right for watching Jon and Kate Plus 8 before bed, eh?)

I also remember freaking about helping Kristin Chenoweth and explaiming over the fact that she had a bright orange FlipCam (not sure if she does in real life) just like mine, which is pink, and I still need to get it back from SOMEBODY I know, (ahem, Rachel? Your not getting your sweatshirt back, unless I have my precious Flipcam)

Ive also been obessed with watching The Sound of Music, that is my current movie obsession and I hope to get my presigned book from Disneyland because they said on the website theyll be sending them out in November, but someone else who ordered the same thing got thgeirs yesterday, so Im hoping to get mine REALLY soon.

Um, I guess that's all I have to report. Please read my story and that's it I guess.

Signing out from the blog world,
Until next time,

So long friends, and blog readers,

Bon Apptite, I'm Julia Child!

Ahem, I mean, bye,

Back Again

Dear Blog,

The date is Monday, September 28, 2009. The time is 11:24 PM and i am FINAALLY updating my blog. Yeah, hear that, Rachel? I'm updating!

It's been about five months since I last blogged and boy have I changed. I have graduated from Rocklin High School and I am attending Sierra College (Don't try finding me there because I'm not saying which campus and you people don't know who I look like, except for my profile photo, and that doesn't count because that's only a head shot)

Erghmm, sorry about that. That was me ranting. Well, anyway, I got my braces off and I am currently weairng a retainer. It feels very weird.

Um, let's see. I can;t remember what my graduation wa slike because it was all a blur. I know it was super fun and went by way too fast. I can't even begin to describe my exprience. My grandma, my aunt and uncle, my parents and my brothers were all there to see me walk across the stage.

Huh? Whaa? Sorry, I was watching the performance at the Oscars with Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman. I got distracted, and then I started watching Heath Ledger's last interview. Why'd he have to GOOOO?? WHHHHYYYY??? *breaks down sobbing and curls up into fetal position*

Ahem, sorry about that, had a little breakdown there. I'm not really a fan of Heath Ledger, I was just doing that for comedic purposes. easy there , put away your pitchforks,

Anyway, I'm getting kinda tired, but I will definetly blog tomorrow *yawns*

See, rachel, now you can read my new blog. Well, not RIGHT now , 'cause I'm typing this, but once I post it you can'

Have a great day everybody

My Disneyland Trip

Dear Blog

I am offcially back from The Happiest Place on Earth and boy do I have news fer you!

Well, on April 4th, we few from Sacramento to Orange County, drove to the aquarium and went to this neat restaurant, after that, we drove to our hotel. Lemme tell you, our suite was awesome! It had two beds seperated by a French door and it had a neat little sitting area with a TV, there was also a TV in the seperate bedroom.

The bathroom had two doors and there was a seperate sink area.

Anyway, the next day, on my birthday, we took the shuttle to Disneyland. We had some trouble getting my ticket, but we got in.

It was very neat being there! It felt sort of unreal. First we headed to Adventureland where we went on the Indiana Jones ride, it was practically empty, which was pretty cool. I loved every second of it!

Afterwards we got on Pirates of the Caribbean , which was really neat. I loved seeing the audio-animattronic pirates, especially the one of Jack Sparrow on his throne, which I waved to.

After Pirates, we went on Spash Mountain and as luck would have it, I to sit right in front, which is the spot where you get the most soaked, which I loved. I closed me eyes as we went down the biggest waterfall, but it was fun all the same.

It was also fun having almost everybody with a name tag wish me a happy birthday. I don't remember what we did after that, but I do remember, after a small parade went past, seeing Mary Poppins walk towards Carnation Cafe.

Being the crazed fan that I was, I ran after her, screaming, "MARY POPPINS! MARY POPPINS!" When I did cacth up to her, she told me to calm down in this really neat English accent. It felt like she was speaking to me from faraway.

When I asked for her autograph, I rmember, she said, "Alright, for your birthday" I mentioned that Mary Poppins was my favorite movie and that my fave part was the "Supercali...." part, and proved to her that I could say it backwards.

She asked me if I could say it letter for letter, I said no, and then she said it letter for letter rather fast.

She even told me to spit-spot when I left. It was a really neat experience.

I came back later that afternoon, so my mom could get a picture of her and me on her cell phone.

Since I really don't want to decribe CA Adventure and I don't want to have to remember it, here are the key points of the rest of the day:

  • I met Mr. Incredible
  • I got a picture with Sully, but my mom's camera wasn't working
  • I went on this Mike and Sully Rescue Mission
  • I went on King Arthur's Carousel, securing a spot right behind the Julie Andrews horse, but more about that later
  • I went on Space Mountain
  • I went on the Matterhorn, I couldn't exactly fit in our bobsled
  • I went on It's a small world, we had a couple of very obnoxious people behind us, shreiking about every little thing
  • We stood in an hour-long line to meet some princesses, Jasmine, Ariel and Belle, which was just amazing to say the lest. Each of them wished me a happy birthday
  • We stood in another line to go into Pixie Hollow and met Fawn and Tinkerbell, who told me that apperently I'm 18 seasons old and was excited to see her face on the cover of my autograph book
  • We went to toontown, went on Gadget's Go Coaster
  • We went through Mickey's house and I got a picture with Mickey in his movie barn, the air conditioning felt really nice. Mickey signed his name and wrote "Happy B-Day"
  • When we were in line to meet Minnie, I got an autograph from Goofy on his way to take a break, later I also got a quick high-five
  • Minnie was really nice, she signed my book and sealed it with a kiss
  • We went to a Main Street Cafe and ended up only buying a Princesses Bitrhday package
  • we went on the Disneyland Railroad, which was really cool
  • We went on the Monorail
  • we had to go all over the place trying to fix my mom's camera
The next day.........

  • I finally got to go on the Julie Andrews horse
  • we went on Space Mountain first thing, it ended up being my mom's favorite ride
  • we went on Indiana Jones again after two failed attempts to get a fastpass for it
  • we had a locker fiasco, in which we could find the number to open it
  • We went on all those rides along the street leading into Fantasyland
  • we went through Sleeping Beauty's castle
  • In California Adventure we went on California Screamin. went through the Bug Fair, and I got a picture with Mater and Lightening McQueen
  • We saw Muppet Vision 3D
  • We went though the Animation studeio and did alot ofcool stuff there
  • we went on Soarin Over California last, which was the pereft ending
  • I used my Fun Card to get a pink Princesses ears hat, a Mary Poppins mug and Tinkerbell on DVD
  • My mom got a shirt and this jacket which took her two stores to find
  • we went into the candy store to get stuff for my brothers
  • We went on the Jungle Cruise, which was very entertaining
  • On the way to the airport we stopped at a beach and I got sunburnt
  • I nearly got a bottle of sand confiscated at the security check
  • On the flight back, I caught the two-hour Family Guy marathon
  • When we landed in Sac, it was pouring rain!
  • We also got to go on Tower of Terror, which in my opinion was the best ride ever! I loved how when the elevator shot down, it felt like we were floating. I would like to go on it again the next time im there!!!!!!
That's about my entire trip, summed up in all those bullet points, please comment, and have a nice day

Adios amigos!

The Academy Awards

A few days ago was Oscars night. I'm here to give ye my opinion on the night's events

Best Actress: Kate Winslet
(My Opinion) Best Actress: Meryl Streep

I was kind of glad Kate won though. Everyone knew she was going to win it. Meryl Streep deserved it though. Lova Ya Meryl Streep!

Best Actor Sean Penn
(My Opinion) Best Actor Brad Pitt (or Zac Efron, if he was nominated)

Only because he's hot., but not hotter than Zac Efron, who does not looks like a dork

Best Supporting Actress: Penelope Cruz
(My Opinion) Best Supporting Actress: Amy Adams or Anne Hathaway

I was torn between choosing Anne or Amy to root for, but in the end, I liked Penelope's accent.

Best Supporting Actor (Posthumourous) Heath Ledger (R.I.P)

I admit that I was rooting for Heath the entire time. It was sweet how when the audience had the close ups, Anne, Brad and the others had tears in their eyes. I never knew Brad pitt to have tears in his eyes, what a guy! (applause) AWWWW

Best Picture: Slumdog Millionaire

(My Opinoin) Best Picture: Doubt

I'm also glad Slumdog Millionaire won, it had that sort of Best Pictire Quality to it, if you know what I mean. The kid actors were adorable.

Best Animated Feature: Wall-E

I only saw half of this, but I knew it was goint to win Best Animated Feature, just by the quality, picture, sound and overall likeability. Also, why do the Best Short Films always have the foriegn titles? I don't get it.

The Dresses:

Meryl Streep

Miley Cyrus

Penelope Cruz

Anne Hathaway

Amy Adams

Meryl Streep had that really neat upsweep hairdo, which I loved. It went well with her dress. Every time there was a shot of her in the audience, i felt like I connected with her, like she was my grandmother or something.

I was surprised that Miley Cyrus was even AT the Oscars, but then I figured out that Bolt was up for Best Animated Feature, so I guess that's why. Her gown/dress was pretty and it made her look grown up. (NOTE: I will blog later about my top and least favorite Hannah Montana episodes later)

I'm not sure I like Penelope Cruz too much. I think it's because I've never seen any of her movies and I've only seen her at awards shows. I loved her dress and her face reminded me of Audrey Hepburn.

Anne Hathaway looked really pretty in her dress/gown. It went well with her hair. She also really made me want to go see Rachel Getting Married, but I'm not sure I'll like it, so I'll just stick with re-watching Princess Diaries, Ella Enchanted, Devil Wears Prada and Hoodwinked.

Amy Adams really wowed me with her dress/gown. It was stunning and beautiful. I really loved the way it brought out her eyes and red hair. Now I shall go watch Enchanted, or not, the DVD doesn't excatly work, oh well.

The other dresses were okay. They just didn't catch my eye like the others did. Mickey Rourke, just reminded me of a motorcycle dude. I'm sorta glad he didn't win.

Hugh Jackman was awesom, better than Ellen. He was very funny, but kind of dorky. I loved when her pulled Anne up on stage. Even though it was planned, Anne really made it look like it was impromtu. She's a wonderful singer.

The part with the top hats was amazing. I loved it when Zac and Vanessa, and Amanada Seyfried with Dominic Copper came out. Amanda looked radiant in her outift. I though it really brought out her hair and her eyes.

It took me a good few seconds to figure out why Ben Stiller came out in a long beard, hat and sunglasses to present with Jennifer Anniston, or I think it was someone else. Please tell me in the comments if I'm wrong, anyway, I read later that he was parodying Joquin Phoenix, maybe that's why I didn't get it.

The short film with the guys sitting on the couch, reviewing the Oscar movies was too funny, especially how they made up a song while watching Mamma Mia. It was jus to dang funny.

Hmm, what else? I think that's it! My next few blogs will be reviewing the best and worst Disney Channel episodes. Starting with: Hannah Montana.

I hope you loved the Oscars as much as I did, that is if you watched them.

I shall bid ye adieu.

Good bye bloggy world

CORRECTION: I was rooting for Anne Hathaway to win Best Actress not Supporting Actress. OOPs!

Signing Off,

Love Maddie Addie, Wonder Writer Extrodinaire

The Awesomness of my life and also my major regrets

Dear Blog

The following is ten things that are awesome about my life:

  1. I can look up to a wonderful actress, Julie Andrews
  2. I have lots of friends
  3. I can write
  4. I am a good person
  5. I am usually happy
  6. I am a nice person to my friends and family
  7. I'm pretty good in school
  8. I can tell pretty good jokes
  9. I can make people laugh
  10. I'm darn good pirate

Here are some major regrets, things that I probably should not have said.

  1. I remarked loudly that my firend was a cranky pants and she heard me
  2. I went too far with a "Yer mom" joke, it was something that I really should not have said
  3. I had a few "slip of the tongue" incidents with my friend
  4. I hit a guy with the intials "DW" in the chest
  5. I forgot to close the curtains at the end of a musical called, "Rock Around The Block"
  6. A lego tower fell over and hit a little kid in the head, causing minor bleeding

One intresting fact about me, whenever I know I said something wrong and I feel really bad about it, the roof of my mouth tingles, but burns a bit. I hate it, but one thing is awalys certain. a year from now I will read back on this and think about how I have forgotten about so many of thses things.

Things I've learned today

  1. Mona has a really good way of weaseling things out of me: hands on hips and glaring rigght at me through her large sunglasses. Her words echoe through my mind, but I'm sure I'll forget about it soon enough, of that I am sure.
  2. My friend has not seen his mom in abou fifteen years (names changed to protect the person)
  3. Mona is scary when she's angry
  4. Mrs. P can raise her voice when she wants to be authoritive, very effective
  5. Boys can be weird
  6. I won't belive Julie Andrews has passed away, because she's alive and nothing Mona says can change it, no matter how hard she tries.
  7. I am really glad I have a blog to use when i need to clear my mind
  8. Sometimes it's really good to type out your feelings and thoughts
  9. If I listen to Sally in History long enough, I might go crazy and have to live all alone in the Artic in a small igloo
  10. No matter what, I can always think of myself as a good person, who does her best and is a good friend to everyone, especially to someone who's feelings I accidently hurt, hey, at least I try!

i am now off to do some writing. My mind is cleared off all my wrongdoings and I am ready to move onto more cheerful and happy things.

Thanks Bloggy!

Sleepover

Dear Diary,

The time is now 11:02. I am using the laptop at Aly's house. We are being very hyper due to over tiredness. Aly has a cute, pudgy beagle by the name of Bagle. She also has a rabbity rabbit named Gizmo. He has a funky hairstyle

Bagle howls every day, according to Aly. We had popcorn, went to Red Robin, and is currently in the middleof watching Pippi Longstocking. It is very fun. We pulled the sofa bed out and lay our sleeping bags on it.

We also are trying to plan out our dream castle , including mapping out and planning each room in the castle. We are having lots of fun. Aly's parents are now goin up to bed, so me an Aly have to be extra quiet and not make silly burp or fart sounds with our arms.

Tomorrow, Alys mom is making us pancakes and scrambled eggs. Yuummmmmyyy!!!

Id better get to sleep. will post again tomorrow morning when I get the chance!!!!

Auf Weidersein and Gnite, bloggy!!!

The New year and a wrap up of 2008

Dear Blog,

Phew, this years has just flown by. I'm here to review the news headlines and the celebrity news that happened in 2008, as well as what happened in my life. Well, first, the gas prices went up and then went back down, we elected our first black president, Mr. Barack Obama, um, the economy has taken a downward spiral and the budget cuts have been stressful for teachers and many other people.

As for big celebrity news, all I can remember at this moment is that Ellen and Portia de Rossi got married, due to the gay marriage law being passed. If you ask me, I have no comment on whether or not this was a good move.

There have also been the sad passing of the much loved Heath Ledger, and Bernie Mac. Others include, Charlton Heston, Dody Goodman (Grease, TV Cinderella, ugly stepsister) Randy Pausch, who Mr.Shier had us watch a video of, George Carlin, and the news anchor, Tim Russert. Those are all the ones that struck me as interesting and the ones that I've actually seen and enjoyed.

Now for what happened in my life. Well, I've had rubber bands put on, in weird places in my mouth, but I'm slowly getting used to it. Last spring break, I got to drive down to LA with my mom to see Wicked. We also met up with my Uncle Bob at the Universal Citywalk, where we also saw Horton Hears a Who.

Wicked was, awesome, wickedly awesome. It was everything I hoped it would be an more. We got to stand at the backstage door and get autographs. I got a pat on the shoulder from Caissie Levy, who had played Elphaba. My shoes were uncomfortable and had heels, but I enjoyed it very much. I especially loved going to the LA zoo and getting a stuffed gorilla.

One exciting thing we did on the way there was actually go to the Santa Maria boardwalk. I got to go on a very exciting yellow roller coaster and I got two corndogs from Hot Dog on a Stick. We passed by the famous Muscle Beach and me and my mom got our pictures taken in a photo booth.

We had fun walking down the Walk of Fame and going into every souvenier shop to find a portrait thing of Julie Andrews. The souveniers they had were really cool, like plastic Oscars, shirts, and many more.

We stopped in at an old memoribillia store and the owner let me look through a huge stack of Julie Andrews pictures. My mom let me pick out two.

On the way home we stopped by this pea soup place and I got a stuffed ape there, which I named Bippity to go with my other gorilla.

Another very exciting thing was having my uncle go to a Julie Andrews booksigning and getting her memoir signed for me. We were originally gonna have my uncle give his cell phone to Julie Anderews, but they wouldn't allow it, so he kept his phone on in his pocket and called me before stepping up to the table.

I remember hearing him talk to her and tell her everything that I told him to say, like how influenced I was by her, she responded, "She must love alot of my movies then" or something along those lines. I know I emitted a little squeak. The whole moment was very exciting for me. A few days later, the book arrived in the mail with a note from my uncle and one of the pages signed in brown Sharpie, "Love From Julie Andrews"

I also stumbled upon Puzzle Pirates after an almost two year hiatus of not playing it. The first day I played, I found and joined an awesome crew named The Mystical Shadows. Some of the pirates inclued, our captian, Debbibebbi, some of the officers, Quinnius, my roommate in a cabin that he owns, Waterdog, Thebobinator, two of the coolest, funniest pirates of them all and also two of my closest friends on the game besides deb and Quinnius. Theres also Vess and my new friend emmer, who just struck up a conversation with me about how she likes my username.

Theres also Rastapirate and some other pirates, who I forgot to mention, but are cool all the same. I also have a rat familiar named "Templeton" he was helpful in finding me a new friend, who loves the name, "Templeton" and "Charlotte's Web" The pirate in question is Pop- something. I'll remember it.

One movie that me and my mom obessed over this year was Mamma Mia, the stage show that became a movie. We saw the movie three times on the big screen, one of which was the sing-along version and when it came out on DVD, there was a discussion about who would get it for Christmas.

It turns out that on Christmas Eve, a family friend, Patti gave my Mom a copy of the two-disc edition. I kinda freaked out because I had gotten my mom the exact same thing. My dad took me to Target and Savemart, before we finally found the right edition at Blockbuster.

In conclusion, I now own the copy Patti gave her and my mom has the copy I gave her for Christmas, so I guess we are both happy.

For Christmas, my mom got me a copy of "Look Who's Talking" from Walmart You know, the one with the voice of Bruce Willis, and John Travolta and Kirstie Alley? Well after watching it, I got hooked and wanted to get the second one, so I found it on Barnes and Noble and ordered it from the store with the gift card, I got from my mom's sister's family.

On my 17th birthday, I got to go to a Kidnap breakfast thing with some students from the fifth grade at Breen. It was a moment I'll never forget. After that, we drove up to a vineyard to visit my aunt Robin, a doll make who gave me a Mary Poppins doll that she had made, complete with an umbrella, carpet bag, little parrot at the end, and the flowered hat.

For dinner we went to Dos Coyotes where I got a stuffed Uni, a Webkinz spaniel, Enchanted on DVD, and other things that i can't remember.

At my IEP meeting in December, we found out that I had FINAALLY passed the CAHSHEE, after trying for about two years. After the meeting we called my grandmother, my aunt, and anybody else we could think of.

The very first thing we did after finding out, as calling my math tutor, Heidi, who works with my dad at his school. She helped me out on Sundays over the summer and was a big help, so my dad promised her a bonus if I passed, so we got her a gift card from Borders.

To celebrate, my mom took me to Build-a-Bear Workshop, as promised, many months ago. Which reminds me, the other bear workshop, Teddy Crafters, went out of business. Anyway, we went in and I came out with a stuffed bunny in a cardboard house. I had named her Beatrice.

She is so cuddly and sweet. I had dressed her in underwear, jeans and a white shirt with a pink sparkly top. Her ears have little pink bows and she wears a pair of pink Sketchers shoes. For the next two days, my mom accused me of abusing her and even took her away from me twice the first night.

Some great movies I got to see include, Ghost Town, the very beginning of My Best Friends Girl, (my mom took me out after one to many sexual references, not suitable for my ears), of course, Mamma Mia, Get Smart, the funniest movie evah!!!, Space Chimps, also a very good movie, High School Musical 3, which was very fun. I saw it with the ILS class. My friend, Aly and I squealed every time Zac Efron had a close-up. She also shared her popcorn with me. The ride back to school was very cloudy and rainy.

My clases this year include:

-Leadership PE
-LOYO (Living on Your Own)
-Math
-World History
-Tech Theatre (quite possible the best class and teacher ever)
-English
-Study Skills

Here is a paragraph on my year so far in each of thses classes

Leadership PE is very fun. I have my friends in that class, who I am excited to see and look forward to seeing every Blue day, April, Danielle, Erica, Kelley, Becca and David. Swimming, Volleyball and Basketball were my favorites so far. While swimming, me Danielle and April visited Atlantis and pretended to steal the Mona Lisa , not to mention visit the Emmys while wearing beautiful dresses. Me and Danielle had very crazy adventures while we walked around the track.

Living on Your Own as difficult but very fun. We had to pair up to create a married couple. I paired up with Kelly to create Molly and Henry Crayola. Our roommate project was easily the most stressful. I was reluctantly stuck with Ian and David, but everything turned out rather well.

Math was and is somewhat fun andf stressful. I am doing better, thanks to the help from Heidi and Mrs. Heath. Recently I paired up with Alana to work together. At the beginning of the year, I didnt like her, but then I got used to her. Mr. Shier was cool and told funny stories as usual.

World History is cool and fun with Mr. Knight, who is pretty awesome. He likes to poke fun at me, since I sit in the front row. His assistant Mrs. Tynnen is also really neat. I was distracted by a girl in my class, let's call her, Sally. She constantly hummed and called on Mrs. T for help. Projects were very fun. We got to do a PowerPoint project on European holidays. I did Germany.

Whilst in the computer lab, since i was done with my Germany powerpoint, I was fooling around and eventually got hooked on making a powerpoint about my very own imaginary country called Myfavoritethingsland. When I showed it to Ms. T and Mr. Knight, they laughed and even gave me suggestions.

Tech theatre is quite possibly the best class I have ever taken. Mrs. Toepke is the best. She is funny, sweet, kind and many other things. She knows me really well, since I've been in her classes since I was a freshman. My friends in this class include, Ben, Chris (who is also in my English class), Dominique, Alexis, and some other students, who's name just flew out of my mind.
There is much more to say about Tech theatre, but I cannot put it into words.

English is both hard and stressful, but, Mrs. Worth and dreamy Mr. Richardson make it fun. We eat popcorn, read short stories and write in our journals. At one point we even had to pair up and make up a story using certain vocabulary words. I chose Mr. Richardson and we came up with a story about a guy who likes peanut butter, but has run out and has to go and buy more, despite his fear of people. His name is Rick.

We also had a plane survival thing were we slit up in groups and had to work together to decide how to survive the plane crash. I was voted the most likely to die early and most stubborn. It was all in good fun and Mr. Richardson said, patting me on the shoulder, "We tease because we care about you, Maddie"

Study Skills was not at all fun,but I am managing it well. Mrs. Heath is more fun than Mrs. Montano, but more strict and more stubborn. I miss Mrs. Kinsella's class. At least in her class we got to watch the Food Network channel.

And last but not least, there is the SAW club. Our new president is Krissy. She is a bit more strict and harder to get along with than Julie, but I'm managing. Marley and Corrine are the funnest people.

Anyway, enough about school. This is supposed to be a look back on 2008. I think I did quite well. I am getting long alot better with Brittany, we have a new Adapted PE teacher, Chris Purdy, who is more relaxed and crazier than Carly, Blue and Kibbie, my dogs, are still good. My family is healthy and wonderful. Chris, my brother, has taken up knitting and gave me a pink and black knit cap for Christmas.

Ben is still a pretty cool brother. He has a new girlfriend named Whitley, who is really nice and funny.

I have a better relationship with my mom thanks to the LA trip. We were a pretty good team this year.

My dad and I are pretty cool. He took me to McDonalds for New Year's Eve dinner and most recntly to Dos Coyotes. He also took me to a Rivercats game in April, his students were in thier claender so he got free tickets. In December he took me to see a performance of Annie at his school, where he's been teaching art for 14 years.

My hand is getting tired. I'd better stop and go on Puzzle Pirates while I listen to my NEW I pod shuffle, which I got for Christmas. I've already put about 60 songs already on it. As for my Christy story I am at 603 pages so far. Right now I am working on Jo-Anne.

PS:

Also, during Thanksgiving break, I got to go to a youth group event with my one of my very best buddies, Rachel and another friend, Devin. We had fun and we laughed alot. The turkey they served was very delicious.

My friend Rachel Hart, is very cool, funny and many other things. I'm super glad she is one of my best friends! To Rachel: I miss you, girl, and we had a fun time on Saturday with your laptop and going to Savemart. I hope we get to do that again very soon, buddy of mine!

Well, I will write again on 1-1-2010, looking back on 2009.

Toodles,
Maddie Addie, Wonder Writer, AKA Mariavontrap on Puzzle Pirates.
